MER Corp has been a valued resource for industrial customers in far-ranging industries such as robotics, defense and locomotive, to provide high-quality weldments for mission critical applications, such as tool and die repairs. Unlike our competitors who perform tool and die repair as a sideline, our company focused on this welding operation from our inception. In fact, we have the expertise and capabilities to not only repair, but address concerns of build-up and hard facing on parts up to 10 tons. We incorporate a thorough repair process that ensures every aspect of the repair is addressed on die parts that include injection molds, hand transfer dies and single-hit, progressive or transfer stampings. Our experienced team of machinists and welders disassemble and inspect the part to determine what machining and fabricating is required to return the part to working condition. For parts requiring replacement, our large selection of materials including stellite, titanium and stainless steel guarantees the part is repaired to withstand the rigorous demands associated with these tools in accordance with customer specifications. Because of our versatility and expertise, we can make repairs in small areas while avoiding build up. However, we can also improve and add build up on shafts that were turned too small. To learn more about our tool and die repair services or discuss a potential repair project, see the table below or contact us directly.
